As part of a larger community-based initiative to welcome race fans to the DAYTONA 500 and the Daytona Beach area, NASCAR wanted the excitement of the DAYTONA 500 to be felt from the minute race fans arrived until the checkered flag. Being the first point of arrival for many fans, Daytona Beach International Airport was the perfect location to bring the fun and excitement of racing to life.
